Polymer Clay Plates Tutorial
By Laura Miller

Make two matching balls of white polymer clay. Mine were about 1/16 inch. Set them on a baking tile. I use 3 inch ceramic tiles for this.
Gently flatten both balls with your finger. Try to flatten them the same so that they will be matching.
Press the rounded end of a paintbrush into the plates. See the one on the right. Gently press down and move the paintbrush in a circle at the same time to make the plate shape. See the plate on the left.
Bake the plates according to the package directions of the polymer clay you are using.

Paint with acrylic paints or glue printed circle onto the plate. Coat with brush-on satin or gloss acrylic sealer.

Please don't forget to visit Laura's online Mini Patterns Group and thank her for sharing her Polymer Clay Plates Tutorial with us.  You should also visit her other projects at her Webshots.
